Please note All MB racing wheels castings are made from our own moulds, none of our centre castings are purchased from other companies, some of the replica styles are a fairly recent addition like the Lola and Brabham but in particular our own March centre casting has been in production for 2 years.
The Lola casting we have produced this year(2008) is to the original lightweight hub area design, but we have increased the web thicknesses and made provision for an extra 10mm of calliper clearance if needed.
Likewise we make all of our spun rims in house and we supply other wheel and racing car manufacturers.
Some companies do not assemble wheels or paint their centres, All MB racing wheels magnesium wheel centres are chromated and painted before assembly as complete wheels which are sealed and checked for concentricity before despatch.
We have just introduced the Knurling of the tyre seating area to stop the rotation of tyres during acceleration and braking and this will gradually be introduced to the whole size range of rims, so please specify when ordering.
